As you may know, we make no charge for patients to access our hospice, however it is not free to run.
It costs around £5m to do what we do, and only £1.5m is provided by the NHS. The remainder of the funding is made up through our fundraising events, donations, hospice lottery our retail shops and Willowbrook Hospice – Living Well Café.
£10 provides a patient with one day of nutritious food
£26 is the cost per hour for nursing care
£960 is how much it costs for 24 hours to care for one patient in the hospice.
