Buses to Willowbrook Hospice
The following services either stop directly outside Willowbrook on Portico Lane, or on St Helens Road which is a short walk down Portico Lane to the Hospice.
No. 297 runs between St Helens and Kirkby via Prescot

Trains to Willowbrook Hospice
Eccleston Park is the nearest station to Willowbrook Hospice and is situated just across the road from the Hospice itself.
Trains from St Helens Central and Liverpool Lime Street call at Eccleston Park, also stopping at other stations along the route, including Huyton, Roby, Edge Hill and Wavertree Technology Park. Trains from Lea Green to Eccleston Park will include a change at Huyton.
Directions via Car
From the North
M6 – Leave the M6 at exit 21A, on to M62. Leave the M62 at Junction 7 and take the A57 signposted Prescot/Liverpool.
Continue for 2.87 miles along the A57 through Rainhill until you come to a short stretch of dual carriageway. At the first set of traffic lights on the dual carriageway, with Whiston Hospital on your left, turn right into Delph Lane B5201 signposted St.Helens/Rainford. Continue down this road through traffic lights until you come to a mini roundabout, then turn right. Follow this road; you will go over a railway bridge (Eccleston Park). Willowbrook is on your right hand side.
From the South
M6 – Leave the M6 along the M62 going West. Leave the M62 at Junction 7 and follow the directions above.
From the East
M62 – Leave the M62 at Junction 7 and follow directions as above.
From the West
Either join the M6 and follow directions as above or take the M56 leaving at Junction 12 signposted Runcorn/Widnes. Cross the Runcorn/Widnes bridge and follow the signs for St. Helens on the A568, until you reach the roundabout over the M62 at Junction 7 of the motorway. Continue directions as above.
