Cakes for Care

Introducing a new fundraising campaign for Willowbrook Hospice, whilst enjoying a cuppa is Cakes for Care. 

This campaign will run all year round, with free resources to download, all you need is people and cake!

Whether this be a coffee morning, or an afternoon tea, we’d love for you to support us. There is no better excuse to get together over a coffee, or a slice of cake, than raising vital funds to go directly towards our patient care.

The great thing about hosting a Cakes for Care event is that it can be as simple or elaborate as you like and whether you raise £20 or £200, every penny counts. And all money raised from your events, stays local with your Hospice, so we can continue making a difference.

 

What do you need to do?

1. Download the free resources below:

The Cakes for Care fundraising downloads will help make the most of your fundraiser, including:

• • Posters – print and display on noticeboards, share on socials, spread the word!

• • Invitations – let everyone know about it directly – post to your neighbours!

• • Bunting get your scissors out and have a crafting session!

• • Directions signage: don’t let people get lost!

• • Tent cards and Cake Toppers: sharing allergen advice is very important!

• • Recipes: some cake recipes to get you started. Don’t worry if you don’t want to bake, shop bought cakes are just as good!

2. Invite your friends, family and colleagues to your Cakes for Care event

You do not need to let us know you are hosting an event in advance and there is no registration to complete. 

You just need to spread the word by sending out invites to your friends and family. Or, maybe you want to host your tea or coffee morning with your colleagues! We would love to hear about how your event went!

3. Host your own tea party or coffee morning in your own way, and raise vital funds for Willowbrook Hospice

Now all you have to do is bake (or buy!), host and enjoy yourselves as you catch up over your favourite brew – meanwhile raising much needed funds.

4. Send us your donations
