Visiting
Visiting the Hospice
Care and support for our patients and their loved ones is of the utmost importance to us at Willowbrook Hospice. Willowbrook welcomes visitors to patients during their stay.
- Usual visiting times are between 1pm-4:30pm and 6pm-8pm.
- Immediate family are able to visit outside of these times. For those who are not immediate family, we suggest contact is made with the ward in advance to check if the patient wishes to have visitors.
- Testing for Covid-19 is not required, but we do ask that anyone with suspected or confirmed Covid-19 does not visit the hospice.
- Visitors and patients may use our cafe between 2pm-8pm. Our hospice cafe is for staff, patients and visitors only.
Smoking
The law requires us to ensure the the people in our building are not exposed to the dangers of smoking or second hand smoke. We have a designated smoking are for patients who are able to access it. Patients who are confined to bed are unable to smoke either inside or outside of the building. In this case nicotine replacement will be offered as appropriate.
