The Moonlight Walk, happening on Saturday, 14th September 2024, is not just a stroll under the stars. It’s an opportunity to remember loved ones, contribute to a vital local cause, and participate in a community event that brings people together.
Starting at The Living Well, Borough Road, WA10 3RN, the Moonlight Walk is one of our most anticipated events of the year, and we’re excited to share the details with you.

The Walk
The Moonlight Walk is returning to the traditional 6K route that starts from The Living Well and leads all the way to Willowbrook Hospice via Prescot Road, before ending back at The Living Well.
But it’s not just about the distance covered. It’s about the journey, the memories, and the sense of community that this walk fosters.
The walk will see the sunset and you’ll finish under the moonlit sky, take a moment to pause and remember your loved ones who have passed. This walk is a tribute to them, a moment to hold them in our hearts as we step forward on this journey together.
The Cause
The Moonlight Walk is not just a community event, it’s a fundraiser for Willowbrook Hospice. Willowbrook Hospice is a local charity dedicated to providing care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families in St Helens and Knowsley.
By participating in the Moonlight Walk, you are not just remembering your loved ones; you are also helping others in need. All the proceeds from the event will go directly to Willowbrook Hospice, ensuring they can continue their valuable work.
Registration Details
Registration for the Moonlight Walk opens at 5 PM, and the walk itself starts at 7.30 PM. The cost of registration is £15 for adults and £5 for children.
We welcome you to raise sponsorship for the event. Your support can make a significant difference to the hospice and those it serves. When you sign up an online fundraising page will be created for you, you can also collect cash sponsorship by using a form, please don’t forget to ask donors to gift aid their donation!
