This morning we met with James, Ste and Vicky, from St Helens Wellbeing and City Health Care Partnership CIC (Hull).
James and Ste have raised a magnificent £2,152.56 between them, following their participation in the St Helens Colour Run.
Ste said “I chose to raise money for Willowbrook Hospice as they provided excellent care for my Mum and other family members, supporting us when we needed them the most. I have also volunteered for Willowbrook, helping out in the day therapy unit before Covid and have seen first hand how the work that they do, makes a difference.”
James said “Like Ste, I chose to run for Willowbrook because they also gave my mum the best care possible, she sadly lost her fight against terminal cancer in November. Willowbrook supported and comforted us as a family through a very difficult time and inspired me to want to give back and help them to help other families in need too.”
With the help from their colleagues, friends, families and City Health Care Foundation, they have more than given back! Thank you to everyone involved, we are really thrilled with your support!
