See how volunteering helps hospices

Tune into BBC 1 this Sunday (19 February) at 4.50pm to watch a short documentary about the incredible difference hospices make to people's lives. The film, presented by Gethin Jones. also highlights the amazing contribution volunteers make in helping to provide the breadth of services offered by both children's and adult's hospices.

The documentary will also be broadcast on BBC 2 on Wednesday 22 February at 1pm.

At Willowbrook Hospice we couldn't manage without the support of our fabulous volunteers. From working in our gardens, to meeting and greeting patients and their families, serving in our cafes and charity shops to helping out at fundraising events...there's something to suit everyone! Whether you're currently in between jobs, looking to get back into work or recently retired, can work a few days or even a few hours...we need your support!

So if you feel inspired by Sunday's documentary or just want to give something back to your local community, why not volunteer for Willowbrook? For more information, ring Ian Turbull on 0151 430 8736 or email: iant@willowbrook.org.uk
