We celebrated our lovely volunteer Pat’s 90th Birthday!
Pat has volunteered for Willowbrook Hospice for 29 years, giving up her time to help out at our Bridge Street shop (now closed) and between both receptions, always offering a warm welcome to our visitors.
We asked Pat why she still volunteers for Willowbrook Hospice, and she replied, “It keeps me young! I like to be busy, I enjoy the company and like to think I am doing something useful. The staff and volunteers are lovely, I would recommend volunteering to anyone as you do feel like you’re giving back.”
