Willowbrook Hospice is a specialist palliative care unit providing short-term admissions, typically for a period of up to two weeks, for patients with complex clinical needs. Referrals are accepted on this basis to ensure appropriate, targeted care.

Patients admitted to the specialist ward benefit from the expertise of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, including comprehensive support with discharge planning out of the hospice, when a patient’s needs can be met at home or in a nursing home. 

Please note that the service does not provide long-term nursing care or end-of-life care for individuals whose needs are not considered complex.
