Continuing our #IWD2026 celebration of inspiring women at Willowbrook Hospice, we will now shine the spotlight on Becky, one of Willowbrook’s Gardeners.
Reflecting the theme from International Women’s Day – Give to Gain – Becky shares:
“I give by sharing my horticultural knowledge with our patient rewilding group, helping others connect with nature and discover the joy of gardening. What I gain is the opportunity to meet such lovely people – and a real sense of happiness when I see them enjoying our sessions.”
Becky’s dedication helps maintain our award-winning hospice gardens, creating peaceful, restorative spaces for patients, families, and staff alike.
When women share their skills and passion, they don’t just nurture gardens – they nurture joy, wellbeing, and community.
