We were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Knowsley, Councillor Ken McGlashan, on a recent visit to our hospice. 
Our Chair, Ian Craig, along with members of the Leadership Team, were delighted to greet Cllr McGlashan and provide him with a guided tour of the hospice. During his visit, the Mayor had the opportunity to meet with patients, volunteers, and members of staff, learning more about the vital care and support we provide to individuals and families across the community.
Cllr McGlashan spent time speaking with patients and hearing their stories, as well as gaining an insight into the compassionate work carried out by our dedicated team. He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of our volunteers, whose time and commitment make such a difference to the lives of those we care for.
We are grateful to the Mayor for taking the time to visit Willowbrook and for showing such genuine interest in the work we do. His support helps raise awareness of the importance of hospice care and the ongoing need for community engagement.
