We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Kate Campbell as our new Executive Medical Director at Willowbrook Hospice, following in the footsteps of the wonderful Dr. Paula Powell.
Dr. Kate Campbell has been with us for over 10 years and most recently served as Associate Medical Director for the past two years.
Kate shares, “I’m honoured and excited to step into the role of Executive Medical Director at Willowbrook. I’ve gained valuable experience here that I hope will serve me well as I build on the strong foundation we have. I’m deeply passionate about fostering clinical excellence and supporting our teams to deliver the highest standards of patient care. I look forward to working with such a dedicated and talented group to drive innovation and strengthen our service to the community.”
Kate is truly excited about this next chapter, having learned so much from our incredible colleagues, volunteers, and patients, all of whom have played a part in shaping her journey.
We also want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Paula Powell, who has retired after 15 years of exceptional service at Willowbrook. Paula has been an integral part of our hospice community, offering care, compassion, and expertise to so many. While we are sad to see her retire, we are beyond grateful for everything she has brought to Willowbrook and wish her a long, healthy, and happy retirement.
Thank you, Paula, for your years of unwavering dedication and for making such a difference in the lives of our patients and their families. You will always be a part of the Willowbrook family.
