Thank you Chris Lamb & Team Chocolate Orange

Our Hospice staff received a lovely visit from Chris Lamb, a local Dad who lost his son Elliot in December 2010, to a condition called Cytomeglavirus (CMV).

Chris collects donations of Terry’s Chocolate Oranges and takes them to local hospitals and hospices staff to say Thank You for the work that they do during Christmas time. When Elliot was poorly in hospital, Chris would bring a chocolate orange to the staff as a small token of his appreciation, which was always appreciated.

Chris started to make it a tradition annually in memory of Elliot and the support has grown each year. Our Support Services Manager, Karen Colquitt said “Chris has been bringing us chocolate oranges for 12 years now and it always brings a smile on everyone’s faces. Thank you so much Chris.”

If you would like to donate to the appeal so Chris can buy more chocolate oranges, the link is here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/ukchocoranges
