We had the privilege of meeting the incredible Taylor family, who’s friends, family and work colleagues have been fundraising in loving memory of Alan.
Alan spent his final two weeks at Willowbrook in August, where he received exceptional care that truly touched the hearts of his family.
The family expressed their immense gratitude for every single person involved in Alan’s care – from the compassionate ward staff to the attentive catering team.
They were deeply moved by the one-on-one care Alan received, describing it as nothing short of extraordinary. It’s moments like these that remind us why compassionate care matters so much.
Alan’s family were honoured to attend a charity walk around Carr Mill Dam organised by work colleagues from United Utilities to raise funds for Willowbrook in Alan’s memory, not only to walk in his honour but also to support a cause close to their hearts.
The total amount raised by donations and fundraising was £1255 which is amazing!
This outpouring of love, kindness, and generosity from family, friends, and the community is truly inspiring. It’s a beautiful testament to Alan’s lasting impact and the strength of the Taylor family’s spirit.
We’re so grateful to have been part of Alan’s journey and are humbled by the support shown by everyone who has helped keep his memory alive. Together, we can continue to make a difference for families like the Taylor’s.
