The Owl and The Pussycat

How lovely is our Pussycat sculpture we have in our Stockbridge Village Shop?

More than 80 Owl and Pussycat sculptures were created as part of Knowsley’s year as the Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture, to commemorate Edward Lear’s world famous ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’ which was written at Knowsley Hall.

The sculptures were decorated by local school children, artists and community groups to reflect the stories and heritage of Knowsley.

We have been fortunate enough to secure one of these which is proudly on display to capture the magic before they are to be returned to the borough in the Summer.

Have you seen the sculpture for yourself? Why not send us photos of you standing next to it!
