On Sunday 21st July, an amazing group of people came together to remember Hughie Shacklock. Hughie received the services of Willowbrook Hospice and in his memory they wanted to give back to Willowbrook and the L14 Community Centre, both causes very close to Hughie’s, and their hearts.
Friends, family and supporters attended a fun day at The Black Bull in St Helens and raised an amazing £9000. £7000 will be donated to Willowbrook. Hughie’s family can’t praise Willowbrook enough for the care and compassion he received and will be forever grateful for this. This is their way of giving back and saying thank you.
