We are so grateful for the Sergeant and Birchall family who walked 10 miles, to raise £3,550 for Willowbrook Hospice!
What a magnificent achievement! Thank you all so much!!
The team dressed in festive clothing, started their journey from our hospice and walked all the way to Liverpool, in memory of Judith Sergeant.
Judith was cared for by our hospice almost one year ago, before she sadly lost her battle with cancer. Her family wanted to show their appreciation by raising funds to enable us to continue to provide care for others. Their Auntie Anne was also cared for by our team, so the hospice really is so close to the heart of all their family.
It costs around £5million to run our free service, but it is not free to provide. We rely on support like this amazing family to help keep our facility running.
Thank you to everyone who supported this cause
The family will be switching on our Christmas tree lights this year at our Light Up a Life service on 14th December and we invite everyone who would like to join us to remember a loved one too.
