A Huge Well Done to Alex!
We’re sending the biggest congratulations to the incredible Alex, who completed the Liverpool Half Marathon on 23rd March 2025 in memory of her beautiful mum — and raised an astonishing £3,338.86 for Willowbrook Hospice! 
Alex ran with strength, love, and purpose, sharing:
“In September 2019 my lovely mum lost a long battle with cancer and was diagnosed as terminal. We lost her on the 29/12/19. She spent her final two days at Willowbrook.
The hospice was amazing, not just for my mum to get the care she needed, but also for my brother and I. It took away the responsibility of having to care for our mum and just allowed us to sit at her bedside and be with her.”
Alex, your strength and compassion shine through in everything you’ve done. Thank you for raising vital funds so that other families can receive the same comfort, care and dignity your mum did.
