On 30th May, we remembered the 180 patients who had died between January and October 2024.
We invited family and friends to join us for a celebration of the life of their loved one as it is important for us at Willowbrook to have the opportunity to honour all those we have had the privilege of caring for.
In these short services, families, friends, staff and volunteers come together to reflect on, and remember, those who have died.
Following these services, we catch up with families over tea, coffee and cake to hear how life has been for them since they have been bereaved.
These celebrations are only made possible because staff and volunteers across the organisation come together to make sure the day is meaningful for everyone there.
Families tell us it means a lot to know their loved one isn’t forgotten, so to everyone who helped, a very big thank you and know you made a real difference.
