The recent storm damaged one of our large trees on the hospice grounds. 
Thanks to our amazing maintenance team, the tree has been safely cut down. Now, we have plenty of branches that we’d love to have mulched to create bark mulch for our flower beds.
Because running Willowbrook Hospice costs £5.9 million each year – and we only receive £1.6 million from the NHS – we have to raise £4.3 million ourselves. This means every penny counts, and we’re always looking for ways to save costs without compromising the care we provide.
That’s why we’re reaching out to local businesses: could anyone donate mulching services to help us recycle this wood and beautify our gardens? Your support helps us make the most of what we have and focus our resources where they matter most.
