Spotlight on Daniel!

We’re incredibly grateful to shine a light on one of our amazing supporters who is going the extra mile (and then some!) for Willowbrook Hospice

Thank you to Daniel who is taking on the Manchester Marathon tomorrow. Willowbrook is deeply personal to him, after our team cared for both his Nan and Grandad Vic during their final days. Now, in 2026, he’s taking on not one but TWO huge challenges to give back and support others in our community.

tomorrow, he’ll be running his very first marathon – with an incredible goal of finishing in under 3 hours 30 minutes.

And that’s not all! On Sunday 6th September, he’ll be taking on the Bala Standard Triathlon, pushing himself through a 1500m swim, 40km bike ride, and a 10km run.

Willowbrook Hospice is a vital part of our community, and thanks to supporters like him, we can continue to provide compassionate care to those who need it most. His dedication will make such a difference.
