We were delighted to recently welcome our Patron, Lord Derby, to the hospice for a special visit and tour of our facilities.
During his visit, Lord Derby met with members of our dedicated staff and wonderful volunteers, taking the time to learn more about the care and support provided to our patients and families. He also enjoyed exploring our magnificent gardens and the peaceful spaces that mean so much to those who visit the hospice.
We were also pleased to welcome a small team from Prescot and Rainhill Rotary, whose generous donation has helped provide plants for our new planters, further enhancing our beautiful gardens.
One of the Rotarians, the incredibly talented artist Mike Gaffney, presented Lord Derby with a remarkable renaissance-style painting of Lord Strange, the 5th Lord Derby. Lord Derby was delighted to receive such a thoughtful and unique gift.
It was a pleasure to share the work we do, and we are incredibly grateful for Lord Derby’s continued support and patronage.
