Sisters take on Skydive in memory of Mum

We want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to Ruby and Lucy, who recently showed incredible bravery by taking on a skydive challenge to raise funds for Willowbrook Hospice in memory of their mum, Louise Anderson.

Together, they raised an amazing £4130.50 to support the care we provide to local patients and families!

Louise was cared for by our team during the final weeks of her life before sadly passing away in September 2025 after a 19-month battle with cancer. The love Ruby and Lucy have for their mum shines through in every word they shared:

“Mum was looked after wonderfully by all the staff at Willowbrook in the last few weeks of her life. Mum – you were beautiful inside and out and just loved by everyone who knew you. We think of you every day and this jump is in your memory. Love you millions ”

We are truly so grateful for Ruby and Lucy’s courage, dedication and determination to raise much-needed funds in Louise’s memory. Taking that leap was not only an incredible personal challenge, but also a beautiful tribute to someone so deeply loved.
