It is with deep sadness that we honour the memory of Gwen McCabe. Gwen has been volunteering for Willowbrook for over 20 years.
Gwen’s dedication to Willowbrook has taken many different forms from being a very proactive member of the Non Stoppers fundraising group, to helping at our many fundraising events, helping to keep the planters at The Living Well looking well maintained and colourful in all weathers, to helping with the Pilkington’s Dementia group monthly lunches and being a member of the community fundraising group – Friends Forum.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Gwen’s children, Helen and Ian and their families during this incredibly difficult time.
Gwen’s legacy of compassion, service, and community spirit will be remembered with great respect and gratitude, and she will be missed by all at Willowbrook.
