This week, our Outreach Service had a fascinating visit from Bat Man himself – Michael (and H!) from Billinge Bat Rescue
They shared their passion for bats and explained just how vital these little creatures are for our ecosystems – especially when it comes to keeping midges and mosquitoes in check. Definitely a gardener’s best friend!
We also had the chance to meet two juvenile pipistrelle rescue bats, who will be ready to spread their wings in the wild in just a few weeks.
