Over the past few weeks, we have been very grateful to welcome several local choirs and brass bands who kindly visited our inpatient unit to share gentle festive music with our patients.![]()

A special thank you to the wonderful Rainhill Community Choir, who helped create a lovely afternoon of Christmas carols enjoyed by patients, families and staff on the Inpatient Unit. Christmas can be a very difficult time for our patients and their loved ones, so it meant a great deal to step away from the hustle and bustle and share such a calm, special moment together.
Our patients and staff enjoyed a visit from Wavertree Gospel Choir as well as members of the following brass bands:

These thoughtful visits brought comfort, reflection and warmth during the festive season and were truly appreciated by everyone in our hospice.
