Our hospice suffered a significant flood over the weekend due to the heavy rainstorm, which has sadly resulted in the collapse of the ceiling in one of our rooms and water damage to other areas of the building.
Patients were safely moved to other rooms as a precaution, however following this flood, parts of the hospice has been damaged and will need to be repaired.
Although we hope some of the damage costs will be covered by insurance, we are asking for any support to help us in allowing us to urgently make these repairs, to ensure our facility is back to how it should be.
