Hospice Care Week – Thank you Co-Op Bank for volunteering!

⭐ Hospice Care Week 2024 ⭐ is a chance for all of us to champion hospice care nationwide, to applaud the incredible work that is being done to make sure everyone can benefit from the very best end of life care.

During the week of 7-14th October, we put the spotlight on some of the amazing teams that we have here at Willowbrook.

First up, our gardening volunteers work so hard to keep our gardens looking immaculate.

Recently we welcomed a team from Co-op Bank ,who came to the hospice to help our volunteers, Ron, Rita and Dave to keep the gardens looking fabulous for our patients and their families.

Thank you to Laura, Luke and Stuart, and Co-Op Bank for giving them the opportunity for coming away from their desks to do some corporate volunteering.

Supporting your local hospice, is a great thing to do as a business owner or employee. Giving back to your local community means supporting a charity that your employees care about. It is also a great team building exercise and will help your team feel good working together for a good cause.

With your colleagues, you can have a fun day, learn new skills and connect with your local community while helping your local hospice. We have many opportunities to choose from get in touch with our Volunteering Hub – 01744 453798.
