The little things made the biggest difference.

Twice a week, Becky, our amazing Gardener, hand picked and delivered freshly cut flowers from our hospice gardens to a patient who was bed-bound and had been missing the joy of her own garden.

A family member received the flowers on the patient’s behalf. Moments like these reminded us that hospice care was about so much more than medical support – it was about kindness, comfort, and helping people stay connected to the things they loved.

At Willowbrook Hospice, we believe that compassionate care goes beyond clinical support. It’s about taking the time to understand what matters most to each person, preserving their dignity, bringing comfort, and creating moments of joy wherever we can.

These small acts of kindness are at the heart of everything we do, and they remind us that sometimes the simplest gestures leave the biggest impact.
