Congratulations to our Outreach Team for being recognised by Hospice UK@hospice_uk for all their hard work during and in the remodelling of the aftermath from the pandemic.

Kelly De Souza, Outreach Services Manager said:

“Hospice UK put out a call for hospices that have been working digitally during and post pandemic with patient services as part of their innovation hub content on the website – so we responded and sent across a summary of our remodelled services.

Catherine Hodge, Research Manager from Hospice UK got in touch to explore more about how we responded initially to the pandemic digitally, challenges faced, remodelled services – how that looks, sustainability and top tips for others thinking of doing the same.

Catherine reported that Willowbrook has been very innovative and inclusive in keeping the digital services going to support patients wellbeing as one of many aspects to the Outreach Services.

I am really proud of my team’s achievement! Well done to everyone involved”

Kelly will be presenting to the Hospice UK Innovation ECHO online at the end of May to present to hospices across the UK, the work that they have done and are doing to support patients digitally.

The work was published on Hospice UK innovation hub in April 2023, click below to read more:
