Heidi & Jacob raises £320 walking in memory of their Nan Pauline

A huge thank you to Heidi (and her brother Jacob) for raising an incredible £320 from the Moonlight Walk. They bravely walked alongside their parents in loving memory of their Nan Pauline, who received care from our team at Willowbrook Hospice seven years ago. Their generosity and support truly means the world to everyone here.

This is not the first time Heidi and Jacob have taken part in this special event. Heidi’s journey with the Moonlight Walk began when she was just 2 years old. Despite her young age, she refused to be pushed in a pram and insisted on walking the entire route on her tiny feet – even when her soles were sore. This remarkable determination and strength of character have stayed with her ever since, inspiring everyone around her.

We are incredibly grateful for the enduring commitment of Heidi and Jacob’s family to Willowbrook. Their ongoing support, years after we provided care for Pauline, shows the deep bond and appreciation they have for the hospice. It is thanks to compassionate families like the Bradburys’, that we can continue to provide comfort and care to others in their time of need.
