The match, played by the fantastic Huyton Cons FC, brought together friends, family, and the local community in an unforgettable tribute to Alice.
Alice accessed the care of Willowbrook Hospice last year, and her husband Tony Riley has spoken so movingly about the support the whole family received, not only for Alice, but also for himself and their adult children. They were able to stay overnight and be close during such a difficult time, a reflection of the compassionate, family-centred care we strive to provide.
We also want to shine a light on Emma Riley, Alice’s daughter, who took on the Liverpool Half Marathon in March and raised an amazing £2,800 for Willowbrook in her mum’s memory ![]()

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who played, donated and attended, this event raised vital funds for our hospice, and there are hopes to make it an annual tradition in Alice’s name.
From all of us at Willowbrook, thank you Robbie, Joe, The Riley Family, Huyton Cons FC, and everyone who came together to celebrate Alice’s life. Your support means so much ![]()
