Oddfellows raises £2,650 for Willowbrook!

We were delighted to meet up with the St Helens and Warrington Oddfellows Friendly Society, who managed to raise £2,650 for Willowbrook Hospice!

Julie Webster, Social Organiser at St Helens and Warrington Oddfellows Friendly Society, said: “I’m delighted with the total we’ve managed to raise and proud to hand this cheque over to Willowbrook Hospice on behalf of our branch. I was hoping to raise £1,000 and we’ve smashed that!

“Thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes and supported our charity of the year, you have all helped to make a real difference in the lives of people who really need it.”

We are really thankful to everyone who contributed!

St Helens and Warrington Oddfellows, made up of 320 mostly older and retired local members and is one of 96 Oddfellows branches nationwide. Its aim is to improve people’s lives through friendship, support and charity, its members can access a wide range of benefits including care and welfare support and a travel club. There are also opportunities to volunteer.

As well as its fundraising exploits, the Branch has a number of upcoming events which anyone is welcome to join.
