A heartfelt thank you to the Ruth Strauss Foundation for providing such valuable training and support to our Willowbrook Hospice team 
The day was incredibly beneficial — full of meaningful discussions, learning opportunities, and even a powerful role play exercise. We stepped into a sensitive scenario with a professional actor who portrayed a mother with a palliative diagnosis and three young children.
The aim was finding ways of helping her to find the best way to tell her children she was dying – because this course is all about empowering parents to have these difficult conversations themselves, with our support.
We also received these wonderful resource bags (pictured) filled with helpful tools to guide families through the most challenging times.
